"Strangers in My Bedroom" Lyrics

The writing on the wall is getting clearer.

Every time we talk I can feel it.

A growing separation that I can't hide.

Looking in the mirror and I decide,

I don't know you.

I don't know anyone to tell the truth to.

They are out there somewhere watching me all the time.

No one even bothers just to say hi.

It has been a few years that I know,

Flipping through pictures I don't recall.

Everyone is watching and waiting to see,

And the strangers in my bedroom are watching me.

Here I am again inducing sleep.

Praying to whoever is listening.

Sleep with your back against the wall.

Keep your eyes on the door.

I've got to leave.

Don't anyone follow me.

They are out there somewhere watching me all the time.

No one even bothers just to say hi.

It has been a few years that I know,

Flipping through pictures I don't recall.

Everyone is watching and waiting to see,

And the strangers in my bedroom are watching me.

Lost at sea on a boat.

Don't let go my only hope.

It's so hard to stay afloat,

When there is no one to hold the rope.

They are out there somewhere watching me all the time.

No one even bothers just to say hi.

It has been a few years that I know,

Flipping through pictures I don't recall.

Everyone is watching and waiting to see,

And the strangers in my bedroom are watching me.
