"Don't Wait Up" Lyrics

Miserable. Invisible.

How'd you do this to me?

Will the silence ever end?

Will they ever see,

Just what I can be.

Walking in this group of mine down a lonely road.

No one talking it's just the thoughts of my own

Where am I going?

What's this becoming?

Can I come home?

I'm walking down this road.

I'm not following your lead.

I've got nowhere to go,

So don't wait up for me.

I'm taking my time to dance in the rain.

It's OK if I make mistakes,

Because I'm enjoying the scene.

So don't you wait up for me.

When things get hard for me people always leave.

Used, abused that's how it goes, so it seems.

Where am I going?

What's this becoming?

I want a home.

I'm walking down this road.

I'm not following your lead.

I've got nowhere to go,

So don't wait up for me.

I'm taking my time to dance in the rain.

It's OK if I make mistakes,

Because I'm enjoying the scene.

So don't you wait up for me.

I'm just waiting to get my ending.

But, I don't even know my story.

So, I'll just keep on walking.

Hush, no one talking.

Until I reach the end.

Why can't I just skip to the end?

I'm walking down this road.

I'm not following your lead.

I've got nowhere to go,

So don't wait up for me.

I'm taking my time to dance in the rain.

It's OK if I make mistakes,

Because I'm enjoying the scene.

So don't you wait up for me.
